Sarah Muzquiz, is a local San Diego creative entrepreneur. She is the force behind the well known Healing thru Art Workshop Series and Funkiifungi, a vibrant plant and disco charm business rooted in her personal healing journey.

In 2022, while navigating the emotional toll of her grandfather’s life-threatening health challenges, Sarah rediscovered beading as a therapeutic outlet. What began as a deeply personal form of self-expression quickly evolved into a way to bring joy to others. Inspired by her passion for creativity, inspiring, and fostering connection, Funkiifungi was born to spread happiness through whimsical designs and meaningful creations.

From workshops to bespoke charm designs, Sarah is passionate about creating experiences that leave a lasting impact. Through Funkiifungi, Sarah shares her journey, inviting others to find beauty, hope, and healing in the little things.

All of Sarah's workshops combine wellness & art while embodying their core ethos aspect of giving back. She is partnered with The Ronald McDonald Foundation at Rady Childrens Hospital, and will be expanding her donation funds in 2025.
